Architecture
In the search for the most contemporary and appropriate architectural solution, a carefully structured, professionally guided multi-stage competition was carried out—won by the architectural vision of Atelje Vozlič. Architects Matej and Vesna Vozlič, founders of the studio, are recipients of numerous awards, including the Prešeren Fund Award and the prestigious European Prize for Urban Public Space, affirming their remarkable creative insight and international recognition.
A defining feature of the architectural composition is the entrance lobby, conceived as a glass portal that introduces an atmosphere of elegant lightness and luminosity. It flows seamlessly into a bespoke, floating transparent staircase. Equally significant is the ceramic facade, whose subtle texture evokes a gentle relief surface and lends the building a sense of refined openness and graceful movement. The carefully curated ceramic tones allow the facade to shift in dialogue with its surroundings—changing softly with the light and time of day, becoming a living structure that reflects the evolving character of its natural environment.
With its outward-facing loggias, the architecture opens naturally toward the adjoining park, creating soft transitions between interior and exterior spaces. Outside, a thoughtfully landscaped garden unfolds—enhanced by a playful reflecting pool and curated planting—extending the architectural concept into a continuous, nature-infused setting.
